A Dreamy diy celebration for my little sister

Hosting a baby shower is always special, but when it’s for your little sister?! That’s a whole new level of excitement! I recently threw an On Cloud 9 Baby Shower at my home, and let me tell you—it was the most magical, dreamy celebration.

From DIY floral arrangements to the cutest bracelet bar favors, every little detail came together perfectly to create an unforgettable day! If you’re planning a baby shower (or any celebration), I’ve got all the best tips and tricks to help you make it both stunning and stress-free!

The Guest Tables: A Gorgeous, Budget-Friendly Setup

Let’s start with the real star of the show—the guest tables! I wanted a luxe, elegant feel without spending a fortune, so I got creative with a mix of fresh and faux florals. My go-to for fresh flowers? Sam’s Club! They have gorgeous blooms at amazing prices, and I love pairing them with high-quality fake flowers to add volume and longevity to my arrangements. It’s the perfect way to get that full, lush look without breaking the bank.

To complete the tablescape, I used:

  • Plastic champagne flutes (because who has time for washing dishes after a party?)
  • Gold candlestick holders with classic white candle sticks
  • Ivory plastic plates with gold trim (so chic, yet disposable!)
  • Pre-folded napkins with built-in flatware pockets— such a time saver!
  • Blue ribbon to tie delicate bows around the champagne flutes, adding that perfect little touch for our baby boy theme

This setup was elegant, effortless, and so easy to recreate! Grab Everything for the table scape here!

DIY Floral Arrangement Centerpiece (Yes, a Pool Noodle Was Involved!)

Now, let’s talk about my favorite DIY project from this shower—the floral arrangement centerpiece made from a pool noodle! Yes, you read that right! This trick is an absolute must-try. Here’s how I did it:

  • I took a pool noodle, cut it in half, and added the candle stick holders in between them, securing with zip ties on the outside and in between each candlestick holder.
  • I inserted a mix of faux florals, sticking with mostly white so I can re-use this centerpiece, the pool noodle foam makes it super easy to just stick the flower stems right in (it’s really solid too!).
  • For a more natural effect, I added in some more ‘wild-flower’ type of white florals, which gave it a relaxed, perfectly imperfect feel!
  • A few finishing touches—some blue ribbon bows and strategic fluffing of the flowers—and it was complete!

The best part? This floral arrangement is totally reusable for future events! Swap out the flowers for different colors, and it works for birthdays, bridal showers, or even holiday décor. Make your own floral centerpiece with everything I used here!

DIY Bracelet Bar: The Perfect Party Favor

I always want guests to leave with a favor they’ll actually use, and this Bracelet Bar was a total hit! It was the perfect interactive favor station, and it made for a super fun moment during the shower. Here’s how I set it up:

  • I used two three-tiered bracelet holders to display all the beautiful bracelets, making them easy to grab.
  • One stand featured all gold bracelets, while the other had a mix of different styles, including some adorable “Mama” bracelets (because how could we not!).
  • For a smaller gathering, you could totally do just one stand, but since we had a big turn out to shower my sister and baby with all the love, I wanted plenty of options.
  • To add a little extra charm, I created a framed sign with directions for guests, decorating it with flowers and ribbon (is this not the perfect final touch?).

I love this favor idea because it’s something guests will actually wear and enjoy. Plus, it’s totally customizable—whether it’s for a girls’ night, a bridal shower, or even a birthday party, the Bracelet Bar is always a win! Grab all you need for your own bracelet bar here!

Throwing this On Cloud 9 Baby Shower for my sister was such a special experience, and I love that I was able to DIY so many beautiful elements without spending a fortune. From the stunning tablescape to the genius pool noodle floral centerpiece and the fun Bracelet Bar, every detail came together perfectly.

Isn’t she the absolute cutest?!

If you’re planning a baby shower (or any celebration!), I highly recommend adding some of these DIY touches. They’re easy, affordable, and truly make the event feel extra special.
