I love Christmas time! It’s the perfect time to show a little extra love and gratitude to the amazing teachers who pour so much time, energy, and heart into our kids! As a mom, I always want to make sure my children’s teachers feel appreciated, and creating thoughtful little gifts has become one of my favorite holiday traditions. The best part? These gifts are easy options that you can easily customize, with items mostly from Amazon to make it even easier. Sharing a few of my favorite Christmas teacher gift ideas we’ve done over the past couple of years below!
1. Jumbo Ornament Filled with Goodies
If you’re looking for a unique gift that feels both festive and thoughtful, this one was such a hit! I found these super cute oversized ornaments that can actually fit a ton inside! With so much space, they can be completely customized with anything you want to add in them.
I couldn’t resist these cute pink Santa suit ornaments, then added in a few extra goodies as filler. Typically, I try to do smaller gifts for our “ bonus teachers “ ( we have a lot ) and then I will come up with something for their main teachers that’s a little more detailed since they spend the most time with them.
If you’re not sure what to include in your Christmas teacher gifts, self-care goodies are always a good idea! I grabbed some eye masks, lip glosses, and shower steamers, plus a sweet treat to make it extra festive. For a little sparkle, I tucked in a few mini disco ball ornaments with glue dots and even found some adorable mini hot chocolate cups that fit perfectly. When in doubt, teachers always love a good gift card too! The finishing touch was a strand of fairy lights which added such a unique, pretty touch and tied it off with a personalized gift tag and gorgeous ribbon.
These jumbo ornaments are so cute to gift! I even grabbed a cute bag to package them in for easy gifting and transporting to school so my kids could easily hold them.
2. Small Fun Gifts for Special Teachers
Sometimes it’s the little gestures that mean the most. For all the special teachers beyond the classroom—like gym, art, music, and librarians —we put together smaller Christmas gift bags filled with affordable, thoughtful items that were still useful!
For these gifts, I knew I wanted clear bags so the teachers could see the sparkly goodies inside right away! Then, inside each bag, we added a festive holiday glass cup, some colorful pens, a few fun little extras, and of course a gift card (seriously, you can’t ever go wrong with Amazon). These little gift bags looked so cute once finished with mini ornaments, festive tissue paper, super cute gift tags and some sparkly garland to tie everything together!
3. Larger Gift Boxes for Main Teachers
For our children’s main teachers, I wanted to put together something a little bigger. These gifts are more like curated boxes with special items I thought their teachers would love and cherish beyond this Christmas! So, I combined useful items with a few festive touches! I filled these with things like the cutest Santa spoon rest, a succulent plant, a mini ornament or two, and of course, an Amazon gift card.

CHRISTMAS TEACHER GIFT BOX SUPPLIES
We finished the gift boxes with some pretty pink velvet ribbon, sparkly garland, and cute gift tags! These turned out so beautiful, I loved having the clear gift boxes! Honestly, the presentation is my favorite part, and something my kids love giving to their teachers.
I also really love having my kids get involved with these gifts—my son drew cards for his teachers, my daughter helped fill the bags and boxes, and it’s these personal touches and memories that really make the gift feel meaningful, and are such a great way to practice giving and being grateful with kids!
Why These Gifts Work
The beauty of these Christmas teacher gift ideas is how flexible they are. You can easily scale them up or down depending on your budget, the number of teachers, and how much time you have to put them together. The ornaments are fun and customizable, the smaller clear bags are perfect for giving to multiple teachers, and the larger curated boxes make a lovely, special gift for the main classroom teacher.
Most importantly, these gifts send the message we all want our kids’ teachers to hear: We see you, we appreciate you, and we’re so thankful for all you do!

Final Thoughts
Teacher gifts don’t have to be complicated or expensive to be meaningful. With a little creativity, some affordable finds, and a sprinkle of festive cheer, you can put together Christmas teacher gifts that will truly brighten their holiday season. Having this special gift giving season each year has been so fun to teach the kids how we can show our appreciation, and gratefulness with small little gestures. They love putting these together just as much as I do!
