A Girly Twist on Holiday Magic
If you love soft, feminine, and festive decor, this post is for you! Decorating with soft pinks and neutral tones during Christmas brings such a cozy, but light feel to your home, and it’s become one of my favorite ways to make the season extra special. From the living room to my daughter’s room (and even my office!), here’s how I styled each space with pretty pink touches—while still incorporating some non-pink classic Christmas decor that ties it all together.
Living Room Pink Christmas Tree
You know that viral trend where people put bows all over their Christmas trees? I knew I had to try it this year! I started by adding pretty velvet ornaments, then tied what felt like a billion bows. I made them thin but long, and attached wire to the back so I could easily tie them to the branches.
Because our living room gets so much natural light, I wanted to keep the tree soft and bright—neutral with a hint of blush pink. It feels elegant but still festive. Last year, I actually bought this smaller tree on a whim, and never got the chance to decorate it. It fits perfectly in the space next to our couch, and is proof that even a small tree can make a big statement when styled thoughtfully, and the lights are soo cozy during the nighttime!
Pink Christmas Mantel
This was the first year I added touches of pink to our mantle and it completely changed the mood of our living room. I love layering different faux greenery to create a full, realistic look. Once the garland was in place, I hung our stockings and added a beautiful wreath that I customized by weaving in twinkle lights and added soft pink and beige bows with bells.
Last year’s theme was more beige and neutral, but this year, I wanted a pop of pink. Thankfully, my husband is totally on board! I added some extra twinkle lights across the mantel, and the prettiest pink bows on my daughter’s and my stockings, while keeping my husband’s and son’s beige for balance.
I also upgraded our lights this year to a set with a remote and timer—such a nice feature for cozy evenings, when you just want to crawl into bed and not worry about whether or not you turned off the light!
My Daughter’s Pink Christmas Tree
Decorating my daughter’s pink Christmas tree was pure joy this year. We decided to make it extra special by starting a new tradition—adding a new ornament each year that holds meaning. For now, we kept it simple with candy-themed ornaments and soft pink ribbon she picked out herself.

SHOP REMI’S PINK CHRISTMAS TREE
She helped string the ornaments (so cute and actually really helpful!) and was way more into decorating this year than last. We found adorable candy ornaments and the sweetest velvet gingerbread and cupcake set at Walmart that filled in the tree perfectly. I’m planning to add handmade and sentimental ornaments she’s created over the years too so it truly is her very own special tree!
For the topper, we used some sparkly picks. The best part was spending one-on-one time with her while her brother napped. These little decorating moments make the season so special, and I’m excited to watch this tree evolve over the years!
Office Pink Christmas Decor
My office has officially turned into a pink winter wonderland! I went for soft, neutral pink tones with touches of gold and sparkle. I started by combining two different garlands and layering them around my mirror using gold wire—it adds the perfect festive frame for the space.
Then came the tree. I fell in love with this mauve pink Christmas tree the second I saw it—it’s subtle, elegant, and all the fluffing was totally worth it! (seriously, so much fluffing!!)
Later, I wrapped the tree in clear twinkle lights that can sparkle or glow steady (I got them on Amazon). At night, the room has this magical pink glow that makes working—and taking Christmas photos—feel extra cozy.
Then, I decided the garland around the mirror needed more dimension, so I cut up a glittery garland and used the pieces as picks. It’s such an easy and affordable way to add texture and shimmer, and seriously turned out so cute!
Don’t Get Me Wrong—I Love Classic Christmas Decor Too
Even though pink is so fun for Christmas, I still love the look of timeless, elegant holiday decor too. Our 12-foot Christmas tree is all about soft golds and whites, giving that classic yet elevated Christmas feel.
Decorating it was a bit of an adventure—I’m terrified of heights, so my husband took charge of the top half (thank goodness for tall husbands!) and he actually did a really great job! While he was doing that, I wired together our biggest ornaments in clusters of three using floral wire, which makes it super easy to not only attach together, but to then also attach to the tree! I handled the bottom half, finishing the ribbons and the rest of the ornaments.

CHRISTMAS TREE ORNAMENTS AND DECOR
We reused a lot from last year, but I added some new ornaments and pearl picks that I just couldn’t resist, to fill things out. The final look reminds me of those grand mall trees I used to love as a kid—so sparkly and full, but still cohesive with soft tones and matching ornaments. It’s such a dreamy finishing touch to our holiday home.
